GDPR compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you specific rights over your personal data. This statement explains how AuditShipment meets those obligations. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Controller and contact

For personal data we process about you as a visitor or account holder, AuditShipment acts as the data controller. For the shipping and invoice data we process on your behalf to run audits, we act as a data processor under your instructions. For any GDPR request, contact [email protected].

Lawful bases for processing

We process personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases: performance of our contract with you; your consent; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service (balanced against your rights); and compliance with legal obligations.

International data transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable) to protect it.

Data retention and security

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, and protect it with encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege, read-only access to carrier accounts.

Sub-processors

We use vetted service providers (for example, hosting and infrastructure) that process personal data on our behalf under written agreements consistent with GDPR. A current list is available on request.
