Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AuditShipment collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to auditshipment.com and the AuditShipment service.

Last updated: 9 September 2026.

Who we are

AuditShipment ("we", "us", "our") provides automated parcel-audit and shipping-spend recovery services. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (such as your name, work email, company and role when you request an audit or create an account); shipping and invoice data you authorize us to access from your carrier accounts (such as tracking numbers, charges, surcharges, service levels and delivery outcomes); and technical data collected automatically when you use our site (such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed).

How we use information

We use your information to provide and operate the service — auditing your carrier invoices, identifying billing errors and service failures, filing and tracking refund claims, and presenting analytics in your dashboard. We also use it to communicate with you, provide support, secure and improve the service, and comply with legal obligations. We use your invoice data to find your savings — not for unrelated purposes.

Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information with your carriers as needed to file and track refund claims on your behalf; with service providers who process data for us under contract (such as hosting and infrastructure); and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

Data security

We connect to carrier accounts with least-privilege, read-only access and encrypt data in transit and at rest. We apply administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. Access to carrier accounts can be revoked at any time.

Data retention

We retain personal and shipping data for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or UK, see our GDPR statement.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
